Eric ClementsEric Clements has over thirty-eight years of experience in engineering and operations program management, nuclear quality operations, nuclear and commercial architecture, engineering (A/E), construction, and environmental oversight. His project management experience covers both nuclear and non-nuclear government/commercial construction and renovations, NQA-1 product development, engineering, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operations, construction, startup, nuclear facility operations, and decontamination & decommissioning (D&D). He has provided direct onsite customer oversight of vendors and suppliers regarding design, engineering, fabrication, testing, acceptance and final packaging and transportation of key nuclear safety significant and commercial grade items and components including all required component documentation being delivered for the DOE both nationally and internationally.

Mr. Clements has experience leading high-visibility Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) development interactions between the Department of Energy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (DOE/NRC) state, federal, tribal, and commercial stakeholders to enable successful environmental/nuclear facility readiness assessments and licensing reviews. He has experience with NQA-1, ISO-9000, and NRC 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Nuclear Facilities and 10 CFR 71 Subpart H Quality Assurance for engineering and fabrication management programs and implementation and oversight of those programs.

Mr. Clements has a B.S. Equivalent in Radiological Engineering/Health Physics from U.S. Ecology.

Sustainable Results

Mr. Clements has transitioned highly contaminated and radioactive nuclear material handling and waste storage processes, operations, and facilities. He has led high-visibility QA/QC development interactions between the DOE, NRC, state, federal, tribal, and commercial stakeholders to enable successful environmental/nuclear facility readiness assessments and licensing reviews. He has direct firsthand experience with NQA-1, ISO-9000, and NRC 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Nuclear Facilities and 10 CFR 71 Subpart H Quality Assurance for engineering and fabrication management programs and implementation and oversight of those programs. He’s provided oversight of vendors and suppliers regarding design, engineering, fabrication, testing, and acceptance of key nuclear safety significant and commercial grade items and components being delivered for the DOE.

Mr. Clements has served as a general manager/corporate officer for company-wide and market-specific nuclear/environmental and waste management operations and business development related to specific nuclear fabrication, testing, and component installation and operations. He served on the NSTec Parent Oversight Organization Committee (POOC) related to nuclear QA/QC, environmental oversight, and A/E services, including design and construction operations. Eric has direct on-site experience with several DOE sites, including but not limited to Hanford, ORNL, LANL, INEL, SNL, and NTS.
