Mike Grigsby has over twenty-five years experience as a Nuclear Safety Engineer for U.S. Department of Energy nuclear waste facilities. He is proficient in hazard analysis, accident analysis, and development of related documentation required by 10CFR830, DOE-STD-3009, and DOE-STD-1189. He is also a qualified Unreviewed Safety Question evaluator.

Mr. Grigsby has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University.

Mr. Grigsby has reviewed and participated in comment resolution for numerous nuclear safety analyses in the DOE complex, including hazard analysis, accident analysis, Preliminary Safety Design Report, and Safety Design Strategy for the Hanford Low Activity Waste Pretreatment Systems. He was the lead Nuclear Safety Engineer for safety analysis and safety basis development to support Hanford tank farm operations and for the Low Activity Waste Pretreatment Project.

He was the manager for the Closure Project Nuclear Safety & Licensing for CH2MHill Hanford Group, performing nuclear safety analysis, preparation and maintenance of safety basis documentation for tank farm operations, including preparation of Documented Safety Analysis in compliance with 10CFR830.
