Proven Experience

Jeffry ParkinJeffry Parkin has over 35 years of operations, technical development, oversight and management experience in the nuclear industry. After eight years in the US nuclear submarine program, he directed nuclear operations, maintenance, testing and nuclear waste disposal for more than seven years in the Support Systems Engineering Division at Mare Island Naval Shipyard. Mr. Parkin transferred to the Department of Energy (EM) in 1995 providing oversight of deactivation, demolition and environmental restoration of several high‐risk plutonium and uranium production facilities and contributed to the successful closure/remediation of DOE Sites at Rocky Flats in Denver, Colorado, Fernald in Cincinnati, Ohio, Uranium Milling Facility in Moab, Utah, and soil/groundwater remediation at the Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC) National Laboratory in Menlo Park, California.

Sustainable Results

Mr. Parkin continues to provide results oriented management and technical support to DOE EM cleanup sites. He was Project Manager for soil and groundwater remediation activities at SLAC and initiated the demolition and soil cleanup activities as Project Manager at the Berkeley National Lab Old Town Demolition project in Berkeley, California. His background in oversight and monitoring construction, demolition and soil/groundwater remediation, operations, maintenance and testing, safety culture and project management is an asset to ISMSolutions.Mr. Parkin held Q level clearance for over 25 years, currently inactive.
